Nerve plant is a fast-growing, tropical plant that is native to the rainforests of Central and South America. The plant gets its name from its thin, delicate leaves that resemble nerve fibers. Nerve plants are typically grown as houseplants, but can also be propagated outdoors in warm, humid climates.\n\n

To propagate nerve plant, start by taking a 4-6 inch cutting from a healthy mother plant. Remove the lower leaves from the cutting, and dip the cut end into a rooting hormone. Next, plant the cutting in a well-draining potting mix and water lightly.

Place the pot in a warm, humid location out of direct sunlight. Keep the soil moist, but not soggy, and within a few weeks you should see new growth. <\/p>\n \n
