How pink can chicken be? I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure that chicken shouldn’t be any shade of pink. However, I’ve seen some pretty pink chicken out there.

I’m not talking about the pink breast meat that you sometimes see in the grocery store. I’m talking about chicken that is all-over pink, even the bones.\n\n So, how pink can chicken be?

Apparently, it can be pretty darn pink. I’ve seen it firsthand. And, it’s not just a few isolated cases.

I’ve seen this pink chicken in multiple stores in multiple states. It’s not just a fluke. Something is definitely going on here.\n\n

So, what’s the deal with this pink chicken? I have no idea. I can’t figure out why chicken would be any shade of pink, let alone all-over pink.

It’s just not right. And, it’s not just me. I’ve talked to other people who feel the same way.

We all think that something is definitely not right with this pink chicken. <\/p>\n \n

Have you ever seen a chicken that’s pink? It’s pretty strange, and it’s not something you see every day. But, believe it or not, there are pink chickens out there!\n\n

The color of a chicken’s feathers is determined by a pigment called carotenoid. And, while most chickens have yellow feathers due to high levels of carotenoids, some chickens can have pink feathers if they have low levels of carotenoids.\n\n So, how do pink chickens come about?

Well, it’s actually pretty simple. If a chicken has low levels of carotenoids, its feathers will be pale and pink.\n\n Interestingly, pink chickens are more common in Asia than they are in other parts of the world.

In fact, in some Asian countries, pink chickens are considered to be good luck!\n\n So, next time you see a pink chicken, don’t be too surprised. It’s just a chicken with low levels of carotenoids. <\/p>\n \n
