Diptyque candles are one of the several products sold by Paris-based Diptyque, which also includes perfumes as well as face and body creams. Like Jo Malone London, it’s a luxury brand whose products are typically found in high-end stores like Neiman Marcus and the scents are consistently acclaimed, a trait that has carried over into the company’s line of candles.

Diptyque currently offers a collection of candles in four categories or sizes, and they each carry premium price tags. The broad range of sizes and scents offers lots of options when it comes to choosing what works best for you, whether you’re planning on buying one to use in your home or to give as a gift.

Each of the candles depict the understated yet elegant packaging Diptyque is known for, with the name of the candle emblazoned on the jars in seemingly jumbled letters and the Diptyque name surrounding it, it’s a subtle yet unmistakably distinctive feature that grabs attention.

The Diptyque candle scents include fruity, floral, and woody scents and even if you don’t have a strong sense of smell, you’ll be able to enjoy the aromas that are strong but generally do not become overbearing. This will naturally differ among buyers, and a few people do find the scents a little overbearing but if there’s one thing that you can expect with Diptyque, it’s a strong scent.

As you explore the candles available from Diptyque, you’ll notice the prices. The mini candles start at about $30, or you can choose one of the candles designed for indoor and outdoor use that costs well over $200. This is to be expected since Diptyque is a luxury brand but you’ll need to decide whether they are right for you since the burn times are what you’d find in a brand that’s less expensive and can provide similarly strong scents for the average buyer.

Diptyque also sells products such as oil diffusers that complement its line of candles. While you probably can’t go wrong with Diptyque candles, also keep in mind that the paraffin wax used is not as safe as soy that, if you have allergies, could cause adverse effects with the strong scents.
