It’s been a little over three years since Breaking Amish first premiered on TLC. The show followed five Amish people who decided to leave their community and experience life outside of the Amish lifestyle. One of those people was Mary Schmucker. \n\n
So, what has Mary been up to since the show ended? \n\n For starters, Mary got married! She wed her husband, Tyler, in September of 2016.
The two had actually met before Mary appeared on Breaking Amish. They reconnected after the show ended and Tyler proposed in December of 2015. \n\n In addition to getting married, Mary has also been busy working.
She is the owner of Mary’s Cakes and More, a baking company that specializes in wedding cakes. She launched the business in May of 2016, just a few months after her wedding. \n\n Mary has also been working on expanding her family.
In 2017, she gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Willow. And earlier this year, she welcomed her second child, a son named Nolan. \n\n So, it seems like Mary has been pretty busy since Breaking Amish ended! <\/p>\n \n
On May 8th, 1984, Mary Schmucker was born in Goshen, Indiana. She was the middle child of three, with an older sister and younger brother. Her father was a Lutheran minister and her mother was a stay-at-home mom.
Mary was a happy and precocious child, always eager to learn and explore the world around her.\n\n As a teenager, Mary began to experience severe anxiety and depression. She withdrew from her friends and family, and her grades suffered.
After a suicide attempt, Mary was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and began medication and therapy.\n\n Despite her challenges, Mary graduated from high school and went on to attend college. She earned a degree in social work and began working in a mental health clinic.
Mary was able to help others who were struggling with mental illness, and she found purpose in her work.\n\n Today, Mary is in her early 40s and still working as a social worker. She is married and has two young children.
Mary is happy and healthy, and she feels fortunate to be able to help others through her work. <\/p>\n \n
Chester and Mary Schmucker have four children: three sons and one daughter. Their eldest son, John, is a doctor. Their second son, David, is an engineer.
