Yes, vegetarians can eat fish. In fact, many people who are otherwise vegetarian will consume fish on occasion. While there are different types of vegetarians with various dietary restrictions, the vast majority do not have a problem with eating fish.

The main exception to this are vegans, who do not consume any animal products whatsoever. Other than that, there isn’t really any type of vegetarianism that would preclude someone from consuming fish.<\/p>\n \n

There’s a lot of debate over whether or not vegetarians can eat fish. Some people argue that since fish are animals, they should not be eaten by vegetarians. Others contend that since fish don’t have central nervous systems, they’re not technically sentient beings and therefore can be eaten by vegetarians.\n\n

Personally, I think the answer to this question comes down to personal preference. If you’re a vegetarian who doesn’t want to eat any animal products, then you probably shouldn’t eat fish. But if you’re comfortable with eating fish, then there’s no reason why you can’t include it as part of your vegetarian diet.\n\n
