Have you ever bought an Ikea chair, only to find that it doesn’t quite match your style? Or maybe you’ve had the same chair for years and it’s starting to show its age. Either way, reupholstering an Ikea chair is a great way to give it new life!

Here’s how:\n\nFirst, remove the old fabric from the chair. This can be done by taking off the staples with a staple remover.

If there is any padding on the chair, you can remove it as well.\n\nNext, measure the fabric you will need to cover the chair. Add about 2 inches all around for seam allowance.

Cut out your fabric and begin stapling it onto the back of the chair, pulling taut as you go.\n\nContinue until all of the fabric is attached. Then, add new padding if necessary and reattach any buttons or trim that was on the original piece.<\/p>\n \n
