If your chair starts to sink down gradually as you sit in it, there are a few things you can do to fix it. First, check to see if the gas lift is still working by unscrewing the cap at the top of the chair and pressing the button. If this doesn’t work, you may need to replace the gas lift.

Another possibility is that one or more of the supporting legs has become loose. Tighten any screws that seem loose, and if that doesn’t work, try replacing the leg(s). Finally, if your chair has adjustable tilt tension, make sure it’s not set too low; if it is, increase the tension until the chair stays in place when you lean back in it.<\/p>\n \n
