If your dining room chair is starting to look a little shabby, you may be wondering how to reupholster a chair back. The good news is that it’s not as difficult as you might think! With a few tools and some patience, you can give your chairs a whole new lease on life.

Here’s what you’ll need:\n\n-A screwdriver\n-A hammer\n

-A staple gun\n-Upholstery fabric\n-Scissors\n\n

First, remove the old fabric from the chair back. Use the screwdriver to loosen the staples, then gently pull the fabric away. If the foam padding is in good condition, you can reuse it; if not, you’ll need to replace it with new foam.

Next, cut your upholstery fabric to size, making sure to leave enough extra material to wrap around the edges of the chair back. \nUse the staple gun to secure the fabric in place, starting at the center of one side and working your way out. Once all four sides are done, trim any excess fabric and admire your handiwork!<\/p>\n \n
