If you have a piece of furniture that you love but it’s starting to look a little worn, you don’t have to get rid of it. You can give it new life by reupholstering it. This project is not as difficult as it may seem, and it’s a great way to save money instead of buying new furniture.

The first thing you need to do is remove the old fabric from the chair and ottoman. You’ll need to use a sharp knife or scissors to carefully cut away the staples or tacks holding the fabric in place. Once the fabric is removed, you can start measuring and cutting your new fabric.

When cutting the new fabric, be sure to add an extra inch or two all the way around so you have enough to work with. Attach the new fabric using either staples or tacks, being careful to stretch it tight so there are no wrinkles or sags.<\/p>\n \n
