Assuming you have a basic understanding of how to use tools and sew, reupholstering a bedroom chair is not a difficult task. The most important thing is to take your time and do a good job so the end result looks professional. Here are the steps involved in reupholstering a bedroom chair:

1) Remove the old fabric from the chair. This can be done by gently pulling it away from the staples or tacks holding it in place. 2) Once all the old fabric has been removed, inspect the chair for any damage that may need to be repaired before proceeding.

3) If there is damage, repair it now using wood glue and clamps for wood furniture or upholstery adhesive and weights for metal furniture. 4) Once the repairs are complete, measure the fabric you will need to cover the seat, back and arms of the bedroom chair. 5) Cut out your new fabric pieces using these measurements plus an additional two inches on all sides for seam allowance.

6) Sew the new fabric pieces together using a sewing machine or needle and thread. 7) Center the new piece of fabric over the seat of the chair and staple or tack it into place around all four sides. <\/p>\n \n
