Have you ever been sitting in a chair and it starts making that annoying creaking sound? It can be so frustrating, especially if you’re trying to concentrate or enjoy a conversation. There are a few things you can do to stop a chair from creaking. \n\n

First, check to see if the creaking is coming from the legs of the chair or the back. If it’s coming from the legs, try tightening any loose screws. You may also need to sand down any rough spots on the legs.

If the creaking is coming from the back of the chair, it could be due to loose screws or nails. Again, tighten any loose screws and hammer in any nails that are sticking out. \n\nYou can also try lubricating the joints of the chair with WD-40 or another type of lubricant.

Just spray it on and then work it into the joint by moving it back and forth. This should help quiet down any squeaks.<\/p>\n \n
