If your dining chair cushions are looking a little worse for wear, it might be time to reupholster them. This is a relatively simple project that anyone can do, and it will make your chairs look like new again. Here’s how to do it:\n\n

First, remove the old fabric from the cushion. Use a sharp utility knife to carefully cut through the staples or tacks holding the fabric in place. If you’re careful, you can reuse this fabric as a template for cutting the new fabric.\n\n

Next, lay the new fabric out on a flat surface and position the old fabric on top of it. Trace around the old piece of fabric with a pencil, then cut out the new piece of fabric using scissors.\n\nNow it’s time to start stapling the new fabric in place.

Start in the middle of one side and work your way around, pulling the material taut as you go. Once all four sides are done, trim away any excess fabric with scissors and voila! You’ve successfully reupholstered your dining chair cushion.<\/p>\n \n
