Have you ever had a Parsons chair with a skirt that you loved, but the fabric was starting to show its age? If so, then it might be time to reupholster it. This can seem like a daunting task, but it’s actually not that difficult.

Here are the steps you’ll need to take:\n\n1. Remove the old fabric from the chair. This is usually just a matter of unscrewing some screws and taking off the staples.\n\n

2. Measure the seat and cut out your new piece of fabric. You’ll want to add about an inch all around for seam allowance.\n\n3. Attach the new fabric to the seat using either screws or staples.

Be sure to pull it tight so there are no wrinkles in the fabric.\n\n4. Reattach the skirt to the bottom of the seat using screws or staples. Again, be sure to pull it tight so there are no wrinkles in the fabric.\n\n
