If your office chair is rolling away from you every time you stand up, it’s probably because the wheels are loose. To fix this, you’ll need to tighten the screws that hold the wheels in place. Start by unscrewing the cap on the bottom of the chair (this may be located under a plastic cover).

Then, use a screwdriver to tighten the screws that secure the wheels to the base of the chair. If your chair has casters (wheels that can swivel), you’ll need to tighten both the top and bottom screws. Once all of the screws are tight, test out your chair to make sure it doesn’t roll away from you anymore.<\/p>\n \n
