If your office chair isn’t adjustable, it’s time for a new one. But if you’re stuck with an adjustable chair that isn’t quite right, there are some things you can do to make it more comfortable. First, adjust the seat height so that your feet are flat on the floor and your knees are at a 90-degree angle.

If the chair is too high or too low, you’ll end up slouching, which can lead to back pain. Next, adjust the backrest so that it supports your lower back. You shouldn’t have to lean forward in order to reach your keyboard or mouse; the backrest should keep your spine in a neutral position.

Finally, take a look at the armrests. They should be set so that your elbows are at a 90-degree angle when typing or using the mouse; if they’re too high or too low, you’ll either end up hunching over or stretching uncomfortably.<\/p>\n \n
