Most plastic chair glides can be removed with little effort. However, some chairs have metal or wooden glides that may require a bit more work to remove. If your chair has plastic glides, start by gently prying them off with a flat head screwdriver.

If the glide is stuck on tightly, you may need to use a heat gun or hair dryer to loosen the adhesive before you can remove it. Once the glide is loose, pull it off of the chair leg and discard it. If your chair has metal or wooden glides, you will need to unscrew them from the bottom of the leg using a drill or screwdriver.

Be careful not to damage the chair leg while you are removing the glide. Once the glide is removed, you can replace it with a new one or leave the legs bare.<\/p>\n \n
