Upholstering a reclining chair may seem like a daunting task, but it is actually quite simple. With a few tools and some patience, you can have your old recliner looking like new in no time. The first thing you need to do is remove the old fabric.

This can be done by either taking the chair apart or simply cutting the fabric off. If you take the chair apart, be sure to label all of the pieces so you know how to put it back together again. Once the old fabric is removed, you will need to measure the seat, back, and arms of the chair to determine how much new fabric you will need.

Then, cut your new fabric accordingly and begin attaching it to the frame of the chair with upholstery tacks or staples. Start with the seat cushion, then move on to the back and armrests. When all of the new fabric is in place, reassemble your recliner and enjoy your newly upholstered piece of furniture!<\/p>\n \n
