If you have an antique dining chair that is in need of a new seat, don’t despair. You can easily reupholster the chair yourself and give it a fresh, new look. Here’s how:\n\n

1. Remove the old fabric from the chair using a screwdriver or other sharp implement. Be careful not to damage the wood as you remove the staples or tacks holding the fabric in place.\n\n2. Measure the seat of the chair and cut a piece of new fabric to size, allowing for an extra inch or two on all sides.\n\n

3. Place the new fabric over the seat and staple or tack it into place, starting at the center of each side and working your way outwards. Trim any excess fabric once you’re done.\n\n4. That’s it! <\/p>\n \n
