It’s morning, and you’re bleary-eyed as you stumble to the kitchen in search of coffee. You find the canister of grounds and measure out a heaping scoop, then dump it into the filter and start the brew. As the coffee starts to drip, you realize you’re out of creamer.

You rummage through the fridge and find half-and-half that’s about to expire. You decide to just put it back and have black coffee. As you wait for the brew to finish, you lean against the counter and think about the day ahead.

You have a lot to do, and you’re not sure where to start. Suddenly, you remember that you need to call the plumber to fix the sink. You reach for your phone, but it’s not in your pocket.

You search the counter and the living room, but you can’t find it. You start to feel a sinking feeling in your stomach as you realize you left your phone at work. <\/p>\n \n
