A cherry pitter is a useful tool for removing the pits from cherries. There are many different types of cherry pitters available, but they all work in basically the same way. To use a cherry pitter, first wash the cherries and remove any stems.

Place the cherry on the pitter, with the stem end pointing up. Push down on the pitter to push the pit out of the cherry. Repeat with the remaining cherries. <\/p>\n \n
